This is a very interesting story. It has got potential. I would recommend though that if you do decide to finish this (which I so think you should) that you add a little bit of drama and add more action in it. All in all I think it is going to make a really interesting story.

How can I combat this depression?

I am a healthy 21 year old woman. I am still in college (last semester). I have always been an overachiever and have been involved in everything on campus. However, I have also had severe anxiety. I am currently seeing a therapist for my anxiety and extreme sensitivity and have never been on medications for any mental disorders. Recently, however, I have noticed a change in my behavior. I cry on the drop of a hat. If I see something on TV that is really not that sad, I still cry. Sometimes I just sit around and cry for nothing. I usually work out, but instead, I haven't worked out in months and I keep eating bad food. I also can't drag myself out of bed in the mornings--I am usually one to wake up very early no matter how late I go to bed. And, everytime I wake up in the morning, I get this "Well, here we go...another day-- woo hoo" sarcastic attitude. It's like I just wish I could sleep all the time. No, I never think about harming myself or anything like that. I just feel a little less active and very vulneable. Does anxiety have a link to depression? And does what I am going through now sound like depression? Because I have been feeling like this for awhile, should I go talk to my doctor?

The 'message' icon on that person's page is still there so does that mean they still haven't blocked me from sending them messages. And if they have, would the 'message' icon disappear? With so many technological advancements, why has there been no direct mechanical or chemical brain enhancement

With surveys indicating that people are feeling more and more disillusioned and cynical towards life, and with people committing suicide, clearly there is room for improvement. Can't human efforts be made to enhance the brain in such a way that we are more motivated, happy, and connected with the world? To those that say the brain is too complex to be messed around with, wouldn't that complexity prove that we are capable of enhancing the brain at a chemical, biological and/or mechanical level?

Very easy and i don't use any products other than Aussie Hair Spray. Wash hair at night. Don't blow dry. I might use a blow dryer twice a year. Don't color hair more than every 3 months. Spray hair with hairspray lightly before flat ironing. Spray after wards. Lightly brush through.

I need to know about degenerative myopia. I know there are three types of myopia: normal, hereditary, and degenerative. Normal myopia is if your vision gets worse from watching too much TV and stuff, right? Hereditary is just like normal myopia, except your if runs in the family, so you have a higher chance of myopia. But what about degenerative? I read that even when you're past adulthood, your vision will keep getting worse, and it can't be helped. How can I tell if I have degenerative myopia of not? I started on March 19th , had on the 30th and on April 2nd. For the past week and half, I have been feeling really sick. you are the parents and if they aren't going to do things the way you ask then they don't need special privileges. if they are not going to follow your rules when they have her for the day then they don't need to have her for the day. if they keep buying things that you don't need or want than don't keep them. either give them back, donate them to a charity, or save until it is age appropriate. my MIL was like this with my SIL and my husband and i were not going to let it happen with our kids. she has yet to get any special privileges and when she over buys we have no problem not keeping everything. we have told her not to go crazy and she doesn't listen. if they want to waste their money on stuff that you aren't going to keep (after you have told them to stop) then that is their prerogative. basically i think you and your husband need to sit down with them and tell them exactly what you want and need from them and tell them that if they can't do as you ask than you need to do what you think is best for your kids...even if that means no more days out with the grandparents or what ever you decide. they will either come around and do as you ask or they won't but at least you will know where you stand and you can parent your kid as you see fit.

Pregnancy after miscarriage?

A little over 2 weeks ago I had my first m/c at 10 weeks I had an emergency d & c because of the bleeding I went through the next couple of days only being able to think about how bad I wanted to get pregnant again. Well we started having again about 5 days ago and now that I have had some time to think about it I would really like to wait to get pregnant again. So my question is what are the odds of me getting pregnant that fast after a m/c, everything I have read says its super easy to get pregnant again after anything like that and I am worried that my irrational behavior has came back to bite me. Why would it be impressive if someone only turns to God during bad times?

I often hear testimonies about people becoming believers because they were in some life-threatening situation or because they were addicted to drugs or alcohol, but isn't that merely believing out of neediness and not genuine faith. Anybody can feel like turning to God during bad times because desperation prevents them from thinking rationally and makes them willing to believe anything. If someone who was already doing fine without God and with no emotional motive for believing like if bill gates decided to give away all his money and devote their life to God, then wouldn't that be more impressive.

Neutering my cat, i have a question?

My little cat is adorable. He's always purring and sounds like a pigglet cuz he purrs so loud. He purrs away from me, with me, as soon as i touch him or give him attention he purrs loudly. Well, me and this one girl really like each other. And we are both sopres in highschool. Replaced a clutch cable on ZXR 400 and now it will not shift out of neutral, any ideas?

Hi, about 4 days ago the clutch cable snapped on my ZXR 400 2001 L9 so I bought a replacement. Upon finally removing the fairings and replacing the lead with a brand new one (made to the correct length from wee-moto) the bike will not shift out of neutral. The lever does move up and down but just doesn't seam to shift into first or any other gear - the neutral light does go out but then re-illuminates as the lever does not click into first. Any ideas?

London Transport are taking me to court... I need help!?

I think this country just wants to make money out of it's people you know. Let me tell you I have never in my life gone without a ticket on public transport. I have lost tickets but I'm never bothered. Now I'm bothered. I lost my ticket on board a bus some how and got inspected and then received a letter asking me to come to court. You would have thought there'd be a fine on the spot but instead I was asked to find my ticket where ever it was in my bags or what (by the inspector) and have it ready till I received a letter to my home address (that was to send the ticket with the letter to show I paid my fare). I didn't find the ticket and I ume now some one on the bus took/found my ticket and used it for themselves, when they were asked to show their ticket. I had made it clear in the comments bit for the first letter that i touched my oyster card which i found had no money, asked the bus driver how much the fare was, paid him, nearly forgot to take my ticket which I got reminded to take, took my ticket, sat down with my bags, saw the inspector board, started looking for ticket and then it was nowhere to be found. I even missed my stop when the inspector took my details down and he even asked me for my ID which I showed him to clarify who i was. I also mentioned in this letter that still today I have not found my ticket. Anyway now they have sent me another letter asking for me to either plea guilty (for not having a ticket) by post or to plea guilty or not guilty at court. I really don't want to plea guilty for not having a ticket because I know that I paid. I just wonder why didn't the inspector ask the bus driver about me??? It was just minutes after that bought a ticket and sat down and why don't they bother to check the damn bus cameras??? There's like so many of them as well. All the evidence is there that I paid. I just feel so upset and top of that I'm a student nurse and this is a conviction or some sort, so it's going on my criminal record if I'm right?? What should I do??? Shall I just pay the fine and plea guilty then????

Very High PH Level and cloudy water?

Ive had my tank set up for about 2 months and recently started running into problems. The tank water is very cloudy/greenish, almost like dirty lake water. Ive done water changes and it never gets all the way clear, within a couple days it gets to the point I can hardly see my fish at all. I know Im not overfeeding. I have a freshwater 45 gallon tank with different typs of tetra and cory cat fish and a big plocostamus which Im trying to find a new home for, I have no live pants (about 18-22 fish in all) My PH level is as high as it can get according to my testing strips. Everything else is where it should be. Can someone please give me some advice on how to get my PH level where it should be and is this deadly?? Advice on the merky water would be greatly apprecaited as well. I would love to have clear water and enjoy my fish again! Thanks.

There's a pretty broad agreement that wood shavings are a bad idea,especially pine. I would get her off them right away and put down newspaper with hay or a towel on top. Some of the hay around at the moment is quite strawy so a towel might be better but they get soggy and need to be changed at least once a day. Or you can use Carefresh, but it is pricey. I find fleece is ideal. You can get the right kind from a href="http://www.hammockyhammocks.co.uk/." rel="nofollow"http://www.hammockyhammocks.co.uk/./a We have a 2x5 C&C cage and a 2m length of 150cm fleece gives us a double layer. The moisture wicks away and we have newspaper underneath as well. We turn the fleece half way through the week and do a complete change every week. We also have pieces of old towel (hemmed or they fray) which we put under their pigloos and change frequently. If you are using a pet shop cage google 'C&c cage' as these make a big difference to your piggy. (Email me privately and can tell you where to get the materials in the UK). Another thing that keeps the cage clean is that I work at home so our piggies get a lot of floor time (fence made with same grids as cage) and I find when they have a lot of space they will have one or two bathroom areas that you can protect with newspaper or towels. The only only downside of fleece is that you need to shake it very well and check the washing machine filter a lot for bits of hay. Also with fleece don't forget to still give them a big clump of hay so they can burrow.

My wife and i have been married for 18 months now and we have a 6 month old baby. She has a 10 year old daughter from her previous marriage. We come from different countries, fell in love and got married 6 months after we met each other.. During her pregancy things got pretty hectic ans she treated me really bad...verbal abuse, even throwing things at me. She accused me of so many things and she really cut me deep. She seemed to push and push untill she got some response from me. A few weeks ago we hit rock bottom. Something inside me changed. There was a complete lack of desire to even respond to her and she blew up. It got really ugly but the end of the night we were both in tears on the floor. We talked for hours and she realised so many things that she have done and hurts from her previous relationships that she hasnt resolved yet and projected onto our marriage. Since then she has been "perfect". Her temper is gone, She treats me with respect and i think for the first time ever she truly appreciates me. The problem is that she is almost a whole new person...the person i was longing for all along... but now i find it difficult to be attracted to her. At times she feels like a complete stranger. In my chest there is like a feeling of numbness. I`ve been researching this so much and everywhere they tell you that you have to work at it. Be like before. Do things you did in the beginning. Yet even when we make love i feel like a barrier... sometimes i avoid her kisses. She is being so wonderful and i feel so guilty for not being able to embrace this gorgeous and wonderful woman i have now...yet a part of me feel that too many scars have left too much hurt. I have been thinking of quitting the marriage and being with someone else...but how do i do that to my son. Yet i also know that if i cannot "fix" my heart then there is only sadness at the end of this road for all of us. Perhaps this is just a transitional phase for me when "in love" changes to "real love"... but if this is how it is then i think love is over rated. I`m a good guy and i want to do the right thing, but i hate that i feel i`m betraying myself at times. Will it just take "work" and if that then what work is required. Ok so basically me (boy/highschool junior) and my bestfriend (Girl/highschool freshman) (we used to do everything together and talk everynight all night, and she told me anything) got into a very nasty fight over facebook (cussing and all) sparked by her friend like 4 weeks ago, and ive tried to apologize but she said she didnt want to talk to me and told me to leave her alone. Should I bleach my face after my first laser hair removal treatment?

I just had my first laser hair removal treatment, my next appointment isn't till the week of christmas. I was told to shave and NOT to wax/pluck. Can I bleach once before my next treatment..such as leave the cream on for 5 minutes then wash it off so that my dark facial hair will be less noticable and will reappear before my 2nd treatment. Should I do this, or not take a chance, I have black hair and have begun shaving above my upper lip but theres always this dark shadow in the area where I shaved. My best guess is because usually they create DLC during the period between when the game is completed (being duplicated and distributed) and when the game is released. Since Activision screwed the pooch and lost most of the Infinity Ward staff, their options for creating new DLC is going to be somewhat limited. When I was in 5th grade (my last year at my old school) I had friends, was popular, and really liked this guy. That was back in September. So for like the rest of that month I was like feeling depressed and stopped eating a lot and stuff. By about the middle of October I was over it, but a few weeks later the feeling that he didn't remember me but I still really really liked him + me really missing my old school and having friends and all, that awful feeling came back, and I felt awful and depressed again. I got over it (again) and middle of November-last week I was feeling great. But today all of a sudden I remembered all that stuff and it made me all depressed again. I thought I was over it this time? Why does this feeling keep coming back? i hate feeling like this but don't know how to completely get over it so this feeling never comes back...I don't like being depressed...
