Will this " secret" jeopardize my friendship with my best friend?

In truth,Poppet,I think you should tell her....but not yet. Why not? Well,you KNOW you've made a huge mistake.You also know this fella has notched you up on his tally-sheet,and will now move on. On top of THAT,you know DAMN-WELL your friend was right,that she hit it on the money,and that exactly what she foresaw happening,happened.That is one mighty good-and sensible-friend you have there,so you don't REALLY want her to keep her word and walk away from you,and you know it. But right now,she's going to be well pissed at you,with every right. So,give this time to fade into the distance,make sure you spoil her for Xmas-after all,it's YOU she was caring about-and,when it's faded and no longer a burning issue,tell her she was right,she was on the on,you can never give your virginity to a special man,and you wish you'd listened. Then hug her. [She's worth more than a hug,any real friend is] That way,she'll forgive you,and you can keep a valued friendship-and you've learned a very valuable lesson. So.happy all round.
