Ran a stop sign in Marion, Iowa. They gave ma a 185$ ticket. Will my insurance find out? I'm 17.?

I was heading to work and I got pulled over by a cop. I'm 17, slowed down for the stop sign but didn't come to a complete stop. He pulled me over and gave me a ticket. Is it worth fighting/will it show up on my insurance?
